Public & civic new build in Albertslund

Garagen - a P-House marking the entrance to the new Coop Byen. As part of the development of Coop Byen in Albertslund, a new P-House has been built with approximately 460 parking spaces across 13 staggered levels. The building serves as a gateway to the new Virkelund residential neighbourhood and is designed with a focus on openness, daylight and natural ventilation. Its semi-transparent facade combines different materials, creating a varied expression that changes around the building. As part of the facade, a:gain supplied Bronsø Thermowood cladding, bringing secondary wood resources into the building’s material palette and adding a warm, natural contrast to the steel and concrete structure. The P-House is DGNB Gold certified.
