PROJECT INFORMATION

Public & civic new build in Herlev

Hørkær Have – residential living with a focus on community and green surroundings. The project comprises 264 new rental homes in Herlev, centred around green courtyards and shared outdoor spaces. The development builds on the existing architectural character of the area while introducing new, contemporary aesthetic qualities with a focus on resource efficiency, among other considerations. At the heart of the courtyard is a community house with a shared kitchen, workshop and greenhouse, providing spaces for residents to meet and take part in activities. For the community house, a:gain supplied Bronsø and Hjælmø, introducing materials from secondary reosources into the project’s shared spaces. The entire Hørkær Have development is DGNB Gold certified.
