Approximately 240 000 tonnes of plastic waste is generated every year by Danish households and businesses. Unfortunately only 36% of this is recycled. When the time comes to discard of your Marø board, it can be melted down and made into a new recycled product, thanks to the fact that the material is 100% PP.

1 Collection

Plastic waste recycled by Danish households is collected, sorted and cleaned

2 Granulation

The material are ground down to a flaky consistency and then melted into pellets creating the different coloured batches

3 Extrusion & heat pressing

The pellets are heated up and extruded into thick stabs. The result is a board with a swirly pattern and sprinkles of colour

4 Finishing

The material is milled and sanded down to a smooth finish and the edges are treated after the desired size is reached

Marø is available in 4 colour variants CB Green, Sprinkle Blue, CB Grey & Light Grey. Since it is made from recycled materials, the batches will vary slightly in colour depending on the waste input. No matter if your looking for a board that blends in and goes with everything or if you want a bold choice that stands out you can find what you need for your project in our Marø boards. Either way you get a unique plastic board made of waste material

The material is thermoplastic, so machinery should run slowly through
